Vancouver Vixen 3

Come take part in the 3rd Vancouver Vixen pusher race along the Discovery Trail in Vancouver WA. Starting point will the parking lot for the trail at the end of NE 65th where it crosses NE 18th st right in front of the Arc of Clark County.
We’ll gather at 10am go through the race info and get started after that. Helmets are mandatory and it’s rain or shine so dress according to the weather. It’s 13.5 miles round trip and is a mixed bag of uphill/downhill flat smooth/bumpy, just be ready for a little of everything.

This year there is a suggested donation of $5 to help start the Urban Growers Market. A backyard growers market and community food resource taking place in downtown Vancouver on every second friday this summer. As usual with the Portland area pusher races podium is for bragging rights, all prizes are raffled at the end of the race so everyone from 1st to dead last has a chance to win something. Bring cash for extra raffle tickets, all proceeds go the Market.
Robin from Eastside Longboards has won this race for the past two years, I would love to see someone from the ‘Couve take the trophy home this year. The race is open to all ability levels and anyone 10 and up. Be advised, this is a long race and has proven challenging to beginners and younger kids, use your own discretion and skate within your limits. Above all, HAVE FUN!
